Edward Cross

| Edward’s practice has embraced a wide range of litigation and advocacy with particular experience of the legal effects of family breakdown. He also has considerable expertise in claims for professional negligence arising from failed litigation and recent experience of both bringing and defending wasted costs applications. Edward is a member of the Professional Negligence Bar Association and the Family Law Bar Association. He frequently sits as a Deputy District Judge in London and Essex. |

| Victoria’s areas of practice in costs include contentious points of principle, technical aspects and appeals. Her other areas of work include landlord and tenant, probate and Inheritance Act work, and general common law. The Legal 500 2007 lists her as a Leading Junior in Costs. She sits as a Deputy Costs Judge of the Supreme Court (Deputy Master). Her publications include 'The Surveillance and Intelligence Law Handbook', and 'The Civil Procedure Handbook'. She writes for 'The White Book' and is the general editor of ‘Personal Injury Pleadings’. She is a member of the Administrative Law Bar Association. |

| Chris joined Chambers in October 2006 following completion of his pupillage. Since then he has built a busy practice covering all aspects of Chambers’ work. He regularly appears in the county court as well as in the High Court and Employment Tribunals. He practises in all of Chambers’ core areas. He also has an extensive paper practice covering pleadings and advice on all areas of the law. Chris is a regular contributor of articles to the Solicitor’s Journal and New Law Journal (with Michael Salter). |
