Year of call 1984
  Gaby has established a busy practice dealing with all aspects of public and private law children cases, including care work, disputes about residence and contact, adoption and wardship proceedings. She is the author of numerous articles for a variety of legal journals and is a regular contributor to the ‘In Practice’ section of Family Law. In addition, she has an interest in education law and sits as a chair of school admission appeals.

  Daniel has a wide ranging family practice encompassing all aspects of public and private law children cases. He acts for local authorities, children and parents in care, adoption, wardship, residence and contact proceedings. He has a particular interest in human rights law and is co-chair of the human rights charity CCJO.RenéCassin, which he has represented on many occasions at United Nations and OSCE human rights meetings.

  Penny is Associate Dean at the Inns of Court School of Law and Director of Knowledge Transfer at the City Law School, City University, London. She specialises in witness familiarisation and report writing and leads the registered intermediary legal training scheme for the Office for Criminal Justice Reform, training intermediaries to aid communication with vulnerable witnesses. She practiced as a barrister from 3 Paper Buildings, London and then spent 6 years providing in-house legal advice to the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Hammersmith and Fulham before returning to private practice where she was instructed by many local authorities in London and the South East. She is the author of the recently published and already highly regarded Reporting to Court Under the Children Act – A Handbook for Practitioners (TSO, 2006).
