Edward Cross

Edward's practice has embraced a wide range of litigation and advocacy with long experience of the legal effects of family breakdown. In the family sphere he now concentrates on disputes over money and property on divorce plus litigation over jointly-owned homes. He also has considerable expertise in claims for professional negligence arising from family litigation. Edward is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and the Professional Negligence Association. He sits as a deputy District Judge in London and Essex. |

Christine Sheldrake

Christine specialises in family law, including in particular all aspects of ancillary relief, children, residence and contact disputes. Her practice covers family breakdown and the legal issues concerning property on divorce including TLATA and the appointment of trustees. Christine also sits as a Deputy District Judge at the Principal Registry of the Family Division. |

Christopher McConnell
MA (Oxon) - year of call 1979 |

Christopher's practice covers most aspects of family law and related civil litigation. He also practises in employment law. Since 1998 he has been sitting as a Deputy District Judge in County Courts in the Greater London area. He is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and the Employment Lawyers association. |

Judith Spooner

| |
Judith has been practising for some 19 years, the majority of that exclusively in family law. She has also trained as a mediator and feels that having an adversarial and a mediatory background gives her a significant advantage in trying to settle matters amicably, but being able to fight well should that approach not work! Judith has lectured on pensions in divorce to a mainly solicitor based clientele. |
