Lord Slynn of Hadley
The Right Honourable Lord Slynn of Hadley will chair the seminar. He will also be giving a short address.
>
Lord Slynn was called to the Bar as a member of Gray's Inn in 1956. In 1974 he was appointed Queen's Counsel. From 1976 to 1981 he was a Judge of the High Court of Justice, Queen's Bench Division and was president of the Employment Appeal Tribunal from 1978 to 1981. From 1981 to 1988 he was Advocate-General of the Court of Justice of the European Communities and a Judge from 1988 to 1991. In 1992 he was raised to the peerage as Baron Slynn of Hadley, of Eggington in the County of Bedfordshire. From 1992 to 2002 he sat as a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary.

Milan Dulovic
  Milan Dulovic (Year of call 1982):

Milan Dulovic is a true employment specialist having handled numerous cases in the EAT. Areas in which he has a particular interest are TUPE (as to which long overdue amendment regulations are about to be promulgated), redundancy selection procedures and issues relating to maternity rights and pregnancy related dismissals. Milan is an active member of the Employment Lawyers Association. He lectures externally and in-house to groups of solicitors and HR professionals on practical employment issues and has recently appeared for the appellant in Bowman v Fels in which the Court of Appeal clarified the extent of the duties of lawyers to report suspicions about their clients to the authorities under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
     
     
James Holmes-Milner
  James Holmes-Milner (year of call 1989):

James Holmes-Milner is an experienced employment lawyer. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association for whom he provides advocacy training to solicitors. James is regularly instructed by both claimants and respondents in the courts, tribunals and EAT. He has a particular interest in disability discrimination and breach of contract claims.

  Adam Ohringer (year of call 2001):

Adam Ohringer has a successful civil practice with an emphasis on Employment, Personal Injury, Social Security and general Common Law.
